I don’t know about you, but I need to take my mind off atrocities and seriousness, in between at least, and this blog insists on having fun also, – so.. Barbie, here she comes, again.
Also, I keep reading about human “Barbie”, – Moldovian / Russian / Ukrainian Valeria Lukyanova, in Danish newspapers. She obviously sells, and this blog is well aware of it too.., but then it hit me: Probably Danes take special interest in “Barbie”-girl because of Danish-Norwegian dance-pop group Aqua, and their 1997 mega hit, ”Barbie Girl”.
I am a bit of a music-snob, and do my best to avoid exposure to crappy music, but now that I have an alibi.. :) I decided to actually pay attention, and found a couple of YouTube videos, and lo and behold: I had a ball ! – And some people just can’t stand that, can they, when others are having fun..
My attention was drawn to Barbie also, when I noticed a couple of visitors had come to this blog today via a search for “Saudi Arabia Barbie” – ( ??..)
I felt impelled to try that myself, and discovered.. Saudi Arabian “Barbie” Princess Sara bint Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the “pampered granddaughter of Abdul-Aziz bin Saud, the Kingdom’s founder – (1932) - The Saudi “Barbie” is claiming asylum in the UK .

In yet another story, – and can’t be bothered to link to more now, – it says:
“Iranians will apparently soon be able to buy toy versions of the US spy drone that Iran captured in December in a range of colors, Iranian media reported. Perhaps that will distract shoppers from Barbie”..
Well, hell.. I am not amused, and now it’s time instead for us to have a ball !
